• Agriturismo Il Daino di Galvagno Enzo, 5 Contrada Manganello, San Piero Patti. If you want to eat in a class environment all the local food specialties at a reasonable price we really recommend this place.
• Renovatio Beach Club, Via Grotte. It's a pub, beach bar and restaurant in Mongiove, fraction of Patti, Messina. It's by the sea very closed to Vila Lina and among the picturesque waters of the Gulf.
• Ristorante la Capannina, 6 Via Catania, offers Italian Cuisine with Reservations and Late Night Dining options.

Attractions

• Agriturismo Santa Margherita. In this farm hotel you can bring your kids to learn how the nature works and animals live. It's also possible to eat in the restaurant.
• Le Rocche Agriturismo in 1 Contrada Rocche. From the owner of Villa Lina, the Farm Hotel Le Rocche offer to your and your family a nice day out walking or bicycling around, watching animals, and eating in the restaurant.
• Montalbano Elicona. It’s a small town, where you can see the domination of the normans (people from north of Europe). There is a castle from the norman time, build by one of the most important kings from that time.
• San Piero Patti. It’s like a mystery town, because the origin of the name is not clear and also the history of the place is not clear. A legend say that under the town, there is another town.
• Tindari. On a hill and It’s a very religious place, because it’s a pilgrim site for everybody who believes in Virgin Mary. There is the black Virgin Mary.
• Mt Etna. Sicily's greatest natural attraction is also its highest mountain. At approximately 3350 meters, it is Europe's highest active volcano. You can choose to go north or south of Etna.
• Giardini Naxos. Naxos, considered Sicily's oldest Greek city, is located just a few kilometers from Taormina (in the locality known as Giardini-Naxos) near Cape Schisò.
• Taormina. It’s one of the most international, touristic place in Sicily. It’s on a hill and there are many narrow roads and no cars. A funicular cableway connects the old town to coastal Mazzarò below.
• Siracusa. It’s one of the most ancient cities in Sicily and one of the capital of the Magna Grecia (the big Greeck empire). In this beautiful city there are many rest from the greek time like the amphitheatre.
• Palermo (100 km). Its beauty has to be revealed through careful discovery. You'll find this bustling city chaotic and dusty yet interesting.
• Cefalù. It’s a little gem. A beautiful touristic sea place, recognized internationally. The design of the splendid Norman cathedral was based on a French one.
• Isola Lipari. The Aeolian islands are also known as the Lipari Islands and Isole Eolie. This volcanic archipelago is located just off the northern coast of Sicily in the Tyrrhenian Sea.

• Parco dei Nebrodi in 126 Via Ruggero Orlando. It’s the biggest natural park of Sicily with many different kind of natures and animals. There are several towns around the park like Montalbano and San Piero Patti.

Getting around

If you want to reach Villa Lina there are few public transportation available so the best is to rent a car and you can choose one of these transportation

From Catania Fontana Rossa Airport

A. Rent a car.

• Take the bus AMT "ALIBUS" 457 (every 20 min. from 5:00 to 24:00) from Catania Fontana Rossa Airport to reach the Catania stazione centrale (=Central Station).
• From Catania Central Station, take a train to arrive in Patti-S.Piero Patti (5 minutes driving from Villa Lina) with stop over in Messina. The trip takes from 2:30 to 3:45 hours.
• Once you are in Messina train station, change with another train to Patti-S.Piero Patti train station.

C. Take a bus

• Take the bus company "Giuntabus" directly to Patti or "Autolinee Sais" (Ticket price per person €9.30) with change over in Messina.
• From Messina take the bus companies "Tai, Magisto, Ost" to Patti
• Once in Patti take a local bus "Giardina Viaggi"(http://www.giardinaviaggi.it/index.php/site-admini..., rent a car or take a taxi to reach Villa Lina
