Mondosol's payment system

It is designed to make the experience between guests and hosts easier and more efficient.

Here's what you can expect in Mondosol:

  • Every guest that books your place (through a listing created within the Mondosol website) pays to Mondosol only a deposit.
  • Mondosol only charges its service fee (usually 15%) and you receive your share (usually 85%) directly from the guest. It will be your responsibility to request the payment to the guest. In Mondosol you can get the phone number and email to contact the guest or you can send a message in the platform giving instruction on how and when to pay you. It's up to you to decide if you want to take cash, card or money transfer (even Paypal if you like).
  • Mondosol automatically includes service fees for each transaction and some taxes from the government if necessary in that case.

Airbnb's payment system

Here's what you can expect in Airbnb:

  • Every guest that books your place (through a listing created with the Mondosol account in Airbnb) pays to Airbnb.
  • Mondosol only collect its service fee (usually 15%) and you receive your share (usually 85%) directly from the host Mondosol 24 hours after check-in. In some cases you can receive the payment 60 days before arrival with a higher Airbnb service fee (5% + VAT). Mondosol can get from Airbnb this payment policy as one of the biggest account in the marketplace.
  • Airbnb automatically includes service fees for each transaction, and some taxes from the government if necessary in that case.

Booking's payment system

Here's what you can expect in Booking:

  • Every guest that books your place (through a listing created with the Mondosol account) pays to Mondosol only a deposit.
  • Mondosol only charges its service fee (usually 15%) and Booking fee (usually 15%) and you receive your share (usually 70%) directly from the guest. It will be your responsibility to request the payment to the guest. In Mondosol you can get the phone number and email to contact the guest or you can send a message in the platform giving instruction on how and when to pay you. It's up to you to decide if you want to take cash, card or money transfer (even Paypal if you like).
  • Mondosol automatically includes service fees for each transaction and some taxes from the government if necessary in that case.
