Stay with me – the co-founder of Mondosol, your host, chief, chauffeur and cleaner for your stay. I was inspired to start my business when travelling in Italy with friends and family. I’ve decided to let you travel in my home. You’ll spend time with me and maybe my golden girl. I share stories from the early days. And you can relax in your suite and living room decorated with some of my favorite pieces of Mondosol history. Private parking, heating, internet with fiber.
The space

• Local products & drinks (fruits, sweets and water) provided upon check-in.
• 2 bedrooms with double bed (sheets provided),
• 1 bathrooms that features a shower, hairdryer, washer, toiletries and towels.
• Living room with sofa bed for 2 and table with 6 chairs.
• Kitchen including electric cooking stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, utensils/pots & pans for cooking.
• It features heater and free WiFi.
• In both bedrooms possibility to add an extra bed.
• Private parking for up to 1 car and in the courtyard for free.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to use the garden in the common area, small balcony, WIFI , electricity, 24 hrs Hot and cold water, free kitchen, washer and parking.

Our guests can spend their day on the wonderful beach just outside the city, with its fine sand. It's a public beach and you can also play in the camping.
Other things to note
All children and pets are NOT welcome.
The room is in the second floor so there are some stairs and we use the apartment privately. Please keep things privately and stay away from others.

Here is what you can do in your holiday:
- Enjoy the sun in the public sandy beach 14 km from the house or take a walk on the river to see the ducks and the beautiful waterfall located in Nordre park, a green oasis below the city bridge.
- Do some shopping in the city center of Hønefoss 700 meter from the house. The grocery store is just 350 meter from the house.
- Visit beautiful places in the nature and relax in the private garden of the house.
- Play water sports, horse riding, tennis, biking in the beautiful lake in Jevnaker.
- Have an authentic local experience.
Getting around
You can take the local bus from the bus stop down the public parking. Or you can walk to the train or bus station.

We are located inside the Honefoss Begravelse building and in front of Peppes Pizza, on the norther side of the city, passing center.
· From Oslo International Airport:
- By public transportation
Take the train L12, R10, R11 Airport Service to Lysaker train/bus station. We are a short 50 minutes bus or taxi ride from there.
- By taxi or car:
It takes slightly less than 1 hour to get from Oslo Airport to our property via via E16.
- By shuttle:
Airport Shuttle service FB20Hønefoss - Sundvollen available upon request. Cost of NOK 350 one way.
· From Oslo Torp International Airport:
- Take the 175 Airport bus to Torp Station, from there take the train to Drammen and another train to Honefoss or take a train to Oslo Lysaker train/bus station and the 200 bus to Honefoss. We are a short 50 minutes taxi ride from there.
